Here is the John Cage poster.

John Cage was a very unique and interesting composer. It was fun taking a peek into his life and learning about his view of the world. I drew inspiration for this poster from his famous piece 4:33

For my next project I have to make a tribute poster of the famous composer John Cage. He definitely had a unique outlook on music and life in general. I have some awesome ideas for this project and can't wait to show them off!

For this project I needed to make three posters with different hierarchy This first one the symbol is the main focus. The second one the text body is the focus and the third one the heading is the focus.

This is a pastel I did in my journal. I liked it so I decided to show it off! Most of it is pastels and there is a little colored pencil in there also. Thanks for checking it out.

For this piece I was given six photos and told to draw inspiration from them. Two of the photos were of Ansel Adems and the other four were photos he took. I placed his portrait as a reflection in water to show him in nature's version of a photo. I hope you all like this one as much as I do! Thanks.

I painted my hand sculpture bronze!!!
This project was a multi media piece using a tetrad color scheme. I chose green, blue, red, and orange for the colors. The snake is chalk pastel. The background is marker and charcoal.
This project was a multi media project using an analogous color scheme. I went with red/violet, violet, blue/violet, and blue for the colors. The snake is chalk pastel. The background is marker and charcoal.
For this project I needed to create a multi media piece using a split complementary color scheme. I chose red/violet, yellow, and green for my colors. The snake is chalk pastel and the background is marker and charcoal.
Here is a zen tangle I did for my 2d design 2 class. Zen tangles are fun! I got a bunch of ideas for future projects while I was creating this.

Here is one of the paintings I have been working on. It was a struggle... At least you can tell what it is lol

It survived!!! There was a couple of breaks but nothing to freak out about. A little epoxy goes a long way. I am still working on how I am going to paint this but for now I am just happy it made it out of the kiln.

The next project I have to do is paint two pics. One of a picture I took on campus and the second of a pic I took at home. Truthfully I'm not having the best time painting. It would probable help if I was painting pictures I really wanted to paint but as for right now I like pastels better. I am learning a lot about mixing paint and how to use color witch is really helping me put together better visions of sculptures I want to do in the future! Sculpture is where my passion is.
